I am not buying any more Ani merchandise, nor am I ever going to another one of her concerts. It's a detailed story that I'd rather not get into right now, but I think that she is self-centered and fake.
I started my new job today. It is cake. My manager is really nice, and I think I'm going to enjoy the job. The best thing is that it is like five minutes from my apartment.
Mary and I went out to celebrate her 24th birthday last night. We went out for Italian and then went to a jazz bar called the Fox, where the owner gave us drinks and desert for free. The bartender told me that I should apply there to work, as well. I guess the owner took a liking to me.
Bookstore man hasn't called. At this point, I don't expect him to, either. It's probably been over a month since he asked for my number, and not once has he used it... I'm a bit bummed, because I thought he was really nice and we seem to have a lot in common, but I supppose he's just not interested. Oh well, that's how it usually happens with me. I'm too nice toward the guys that I like and then they aren't interested anymore (if they were in the first place), and the guys who I completely ignore are still calling me, months after I stopped calling them.
